The hotel and rooms were lovely and clean, everything cleaned regularly. Some families could be noisy at night but we do go to bed quite early. There was a bit of argy bargy over sun beds and umbrellas but this is no different to anywhere else. We read about fights between guests and it being the hotel from hell but this was far from the truth. A bit disappointed initially as room was far too small with a small double for me and my teenage daughter but the staff changed our room for us the next day, no hassle at all. Another helpful receptionist intervened and we booked the coach excursion to Barcelona, this was interesting and we enjoyed it, although 3 hours too long and we wished we’d caught the train and sorted it out for ourselves. Well apart from the one man on reception, a tall older man, we asked about excursions and he pointed to a poster and told us to catch the train to Barcelona and sort it all out ourselves. The food was excellent, so much choice and variety each day, hold on to your plates the staff are very efficient and tidy up at speed. We are sitting in the airport after a lovely holiday. Good job Santa Susana Resort! Do not under any circumstances use MTS Glode for took SIX hours to get here from Barcelona Airport, and they'll be getting a strongly worded email when we get home!… It isn't 5 star.but it isn't trying to be. Our teenager hated every second.mainly because of the WiFi being hit n miss.but then she'd hate anywhere, so we don't hold much value on that 🤣 We'd say it represents good value for money and would come again with the youngest. If we were looking for something as a couple, we'd probably stay in town, but for the kids, it's pretty much perfect.

Its a little bit irritating at first, but actually makes sense to keep the place free from drinks cups left all over the show. Its a really nice atmosphere and everyone looks like they are enjoying themselves without any drunken idiots anywhere. The main 'tourist bit' is about a 15min walk and has the usual shops and bars etc. Theres a Carrefour, a mini-mall and a small retail park 5 mins in the opposite direction if you want that too. If not there's a Maccies, a Lidl and a Burger King about an 8 minute walk up the dual carriageway if that's more your thing. Wanted to take the mattress home with me!! Food, again as expected for all inclusive, isnt great, but its plentiful, fresh, and there's at least one thing you'll eat. There's four beds in our room, so its not the most spacious, but its comfortable, well lit and the aircon is brilliant. Its a bit dated as you'd expect for the price, but everything works. Staff are friendly and hardworking, cleaners are almost obsessive, and the place is spotless. Was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, and on getting dropped off outside becauseof how busy it was.but pleasantly surprised after being here half an hour! We are now on day 4.
